2 The World 4 His Glory was founded in 2015 by Darrell and Margaret Pearman, as the means to carry out the vision to continue in the ministry God gave all believers, to join Him in His plan to make disciples of ALL NATIONS.
Nigeria, Short Term Mission.
We first started sensing God was preparing us for missions in 2009 when we became involved with short term missions in central Nigeria. Working closely with believers who shared our passion to seek opportunities to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ among those who do not know Him. We would drive sometimes all day to reach remote villages and sleep in tents. The people would be in the fields working until sunset, then come home to clean up and eat. When the people were ready, sometimes as late as 10pm, they would gather in open common areas to share God’s Word. Each morning we would pack up and drive to another village.
These short trips, full of long days, only led us to want to do more to serve the Lord and join Him in the work He was already doing. In early 2012, we heard God’s call to serve Him in a more full-time manner. We became full time missionaries with the International Mission Board and after two months of extensive training we moved to Suriname, South America.
Suriname, Long Term Mission.
We spent two years in Suriname. During that time we spent most of our time developing relationships and learning the local trade language and culture. This allowed us to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the lost in Suriname. We worked with the churches in Paramaribo to encourage the members and help equip them to evangelize people in their communities. We also reached out to the Kwinti people in the rain forest who are a tribe that were at the time listed as an Unengaged Unreached people group. After that we began reaching out to other tribes, both African and Amerindian who live in villages along the rivers.
Building relationships with people in the city and the bush was difficult and presented many challenges for us as we learned to live in cultures with a worldview very different from the one we knew. But through Love, prayer and fasting, God opened the door for us with the churches in the city and to share the Gospel with the Kwinti. 
After our two year term with the IMB was completed we returned to Texas, convinced God had more work for us in Suriname but not knowing how that would work. Then God put people in our path and directed our steps and through that this ministry was born.
While there we learned how God uses the basic human need of clean water to open doors to share the Good News of Christ Jesus.
Through tax free donations we are able to provide water filters to people in villages in remote locations where clean water is not available. Taking the filters house to house we demonstrate to the family how to use the filters and this provides us with the opportunity to share the Good News of the Living Water of Christ Jesus to people who we come in contact with. We also provide each home with a Bible, either written or audio so that those who want to know more have access to God’s word. We develop relationships with local believers in order to encourage them and to reach out to others with the gospel message.
We work closely with several churches in the capital city of Paramaribo as well, in order to support and encourage them. We have long lasting relationships with them and these churches are joining with us to share the gospel in their communities and in the bush. Together we are obeying the call to go and share the good news.
